Winter 2026

Hey everybody! 2025 was a challenging year for most of us in the art selling business and I was no exception. After my last holiday market in December I have been trying to take the time to relax and plan for this year. I am not ashamed to admit that financially last year was pretty bad for the business and has had me reevaluating everything. To add insult to injury, I keep getting knocked on my butt with my own health issues so every day is kind of playing it by ear. 

I'm not closing up shop yet, but I'll probably be leaning more into online shop updates and finally putting my stuff in a few consignment shops locally this year. I will be doing Oddities & Curiosities here in Portland again this year on November 7-8th and I have also signed up for the September 19-20th show in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm on the waitlist for the Seattle show so if that comes up for me I will let everyone know. 

For the rest of January I am taking care of my studio cat, Huckleberry who just had a cryptorchid neuter a few days ago. He's probably got another week stuck inside with us, which he's been a good sport about so far. But we know he misses his feral bff Gooseberry and is anxious to be back outside. I'll also be catching up on a lot of cleaning and decluttering in my own house and, once Huckleberry is healed, in my studio as well. 

I still have a great deal of inventory leftover from over the past two years. I'm going to reach out to some local consignment shops after I sort through everything and then I will take pictures and make listings for everything else. I have a good amount of things that are sitting around waiting to be glazed, re-glazed or lustered that I probably won't be getting around to finishing until the studio is cleaned. I hope to have a shop update ready by the Spring Equinox, but it could be sooner or later depending on how my health cooperates. 

As for new work, I am currently gathering supplies for doll making, I have some gnarly ideas in my head that need to come out for those and other things. I also am trying to get through, sell or donate all of my stashed craft supplies this year. So I may have some other weird things for sale outside of my normal ceramics. 

Last but not least, I want to start making more Youtube and Twitch content so keep an eye out for me live on both of those sites as well as short and long-form teaching videos on Youtube. If you see me live come on in and say hi!
